There's something incredibly special about photographing first- time parents- the quiet excitement, the growing love, and the anticipation of what's to come. I had the honor of capturing just that with Adam and Nicole during their maternity session at Brush Co Studio in Kansas City, Missouri.
Shot on a crisp February afternoon, their session took place indoors, giving us the perfect cozy and minimal setting to focus on connection and emotion. The soft, natural light flooding through the studio windows paired with the clean, neutral tones of the space- allowing Adam and Nicole's bond (and Nicole's radiant glow) to shine through.
