Elegant Downtown Kansas City Engagement | Megan & Ryan


There's something magical about Kansas City in the summer- The bold golden light, the trees full bloom, and the way the city feels alive with possibility. For Megan and Ryan's engagement session, we wanted to capture that magic while weaving in their love story and their timeless, chic style.


We started our session at the iconic Nelson- Atkins Museum of Art, where the clean architectural lines and grand stone steps gave the perfect elegant backdrop. Megan's sleek white dress and Ryan's suit looked like they stepped right out of a fashion editorial. Between quiet moments tucked into the museum's garden paths and laughter echoing down the marble walkways, we documented their natural chemistry beautifully.


As the sun dipped lower, he headed into downtown Kansas City. The energy shifted from soft romance to modern sophistication. Strolling hand-in-hand through the bustling streets, Megan and Ryan's style blended perfectly with the city lights and urban textures. It was one of those evenings where every frame felt cinematic.


Next May, these two will be saying "I do" at Bourgmont Winery, and after spending this time with them, I know their wedding day will be nothing short of spectacular. Until then, these engagement portraits are a perfect reminder of this exciting chapter in their love story.
