Maggie & Scott | Intimate Firehouse KC Wedding

Last Saturday, I had the joy of photographing Maggie and Scott’s beautiful wedding at Firehouse KC—and even though the day was wrapped in gray skies and a steady drizzle, it couldn’t have felt more intimate, calm, and heartfelt.

Their ceremony was small, cozy, and filled with so much emotion. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Maggie and Scott exchanged vows in a space that felt warm and peaceful despite the storm outside. There’s something about a rainy wedding day that slows everything down in the best way—and their day was exactly that. Soft light, quiet moments, and so much love.

One of my favorite things about Firehouse KC is how charming and unique the space is, and paired with the moody weather, it created the perfect backdrop for their photos. Gloomy days make for the dreamiest tones, and these two absolutely glowed together.

Maggie and Scott kept their celebration simple and intentional—focused on their promises, their people, and soaking in every moment. It was such an honor to document a day that felt so genuinely them.
