A Golden Couples Session at Burr Oak Woods
Burr Oak Woods opened up beautifully for this couples session, with wide open fields and soft, sweeping views that made everything feel calm and unhurried. The tall grasses, subtle movement of the wind, and endless sky created the perfect setting for photos that felt natural, romantic, and timeless.
We spent most of the session wandering through the open field, letting the space guide the pace. There’s something about being surrounded by so much openness that encourages couples to relax — no distractions, no pressure, just room to move, laugh, and connect. The light was especially dreamy out here, wrapping everything in a soft glow that photographed beautifully.
