Claire & Wes | A Family Farm Engagement Session with Wide Open Fields
There’s something incredibly special about photographing an engagement session on a place that already holds meaning—and Claire and Wes’s family farm was the perfect setting for just that. Surrounded by wide open fields, tall grasses, and the kind of quiet you only find outside the city, their session felt calm, personal, and completely true to who they are as a couple.
We wandered through open fields as the light softened, letting the session unfold naturally. Claire and Wes were effortless together—laughing easily, stealing quiet moments, and never feeling posed or rushed. The simplicity of the landscape really allowed their connection to shine, and the open space gave everything that airy, timeless feel I love so much.
Of course, their engagement session wouldn’t have been complete without their adorable weiner dogs making an appearance. The pups brought such a fun, playful energy to the session and made it even more personal. From little paws running through the grass to being snuggled up with Claire and Wes, they were the perfect reminder that your engagement photos should reflect real life and the things you love most.
Sessions like this are why I love photographing couples in meaningful locations. A family farm, wide open fields, and the people (and pups) you love most—it doesn’t get much better than that. Claire and Wes, thank you for trusting me to capture this season of your story. I can’t wait for what’s ahead for you two.
