A playful session in the park

From the moment we started, these two couldn't stop laughing together. They ran through the field, twirled under the golden evening light, and made every pose feel completely natural. Shawnee Mission Park has such a relaxed atmosphere, which really allowed their playful energy to shine through.


Ending at Shawnee mission lake

We wrapped up their session at the dock on Shawnee Mission Lake, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The water was calm, the sun was setting, and it gave us such a romantic backdrop to balance out the laughter and playful moments earlier in the session. The dock is one of my favorite spots for engagement photos because it gives couples a chance to slow down, breathe, and enjoy the moment together.
