Madi & Logan’s Cozy Shawnee Mission Park Engagement Session

There’s something about a chilly day that brings people even closer, and that was definitely the case for Madi and Logan’s engagement session at Shawnee Mission Park. Even with the cold air settling in around us, these two showed up bundled, smiling, and ready to have fun — and they brought their sweet pup Frankie along to join the adventure.


We wandered through the park’s open field, letting the cool tones of the overcast sky take over. Frankie trotted right along with us, stealing the spotlight more than once with his little poses and curiosity. I love when couples include their dog — it adds so much personality and always brings out the most natural moments.


Madi and Logan’s connection made the whole session feel warm, even in the winter temps. They laughed through the shivers, wrapped up in each other’s arms, and embraced every moment like it was part of their story — because it is.

I cannot wait for their wedding day and all the beautiful moments ahead. If their engagement session was any sign, it’s going to be something incredibly special.
